The thought of making Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital was made by Guru Ballabh Bhakt Mandal , Kolkata, in the year 2002 during the Sakranit Mahotsav of our Gurudev Acharya Pravar Srimad Vijay Nityanand Surishwar ji Maharaj Saheb on 13^th Feb. At that time the immediate Land Development Minister of Bihar, Sri Prayag Raj Chaudhury was the Chief Guest of the event. After taking the blessings from Gurudev, the Honourable Minister showed desire of making a hospital for the needy people of the locality. Gurudev said if the Government would allot land to them,  they would be more then happy to make the hospital. After getting the confirmation from Gurudev , honourable minister announced to grant the allotment of land by the government.

With the blessings and proper guidance of Param Pujya Gurudev the laying stone ceremony took place on 22^nd April 2002. The donors of Laying stone was Sri Veerchand ji Rajkumar ji Jain from Delhi. The other honourable donors were Sri Rajkumar ji Jain of Oswal Electricals from Faridabad, Sri Sundar Lal ji Dugar of RDB Group from Kolkata and Sri Sunil ji Sanjeev ji Nakhat of Motichand Inderchand Nakhat Welfare Trust from Kolkata.

Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital is already constructed on the land alloted by the Govt , with the provision and vision of expansion in future. Let us all come together and keep the lamp of social serving burning by putting our effort in the mode of donations. In this way we can enlighten the life of a common man and spread the message of happiness as said by Bhagwan Mahaveer.

The construction status of first phase is already completed and have the following facilities available as on date:

At present from time to time camps like health check up, blood sugar testing, eye check up, spectacles distribution and eye operation through micro surgery, ENT treatment, blood testings etc are held for common people. Bone related diseases are also taken care of in co-ordination with well known charity institutions like “Mukti”, Chennai and Mahaveer International. Provision for Jaipur Artificial Limb and Calibre etc are also arranged. Operations for Hydrosil, Hernia are also done here. Recently Dental Department has also opened here.
